Collaboration Between InfoComm and AVI Systems Unveiled Once More for InfoComm Esports Live 2.0 Presentation
InfoComm Esports Live 2.0: A Gaming and Esports Extravaganza
InfoComm and AVI Systems are once again joining forces to bring you InfoComm Esports Live 2.0, a three-day event dedicated to gaming and esports, taking place from June 12-14. The event will be hosted at the Las Vegas Convention Center and will feature a variety of activities for both enthusiasts and industry professionals.
Gaming Action and Expert Insights
The event will showcase live match-play competitions, featuring champion-level players from top esports college and university programs. The Rocket League will be played on all three days, with the championship game played on June 14. The top three teams will win prizes after a double elimination.
The Gaming Stage will feature collegiate teams playing three-on-three Rocket League matches using top-of-the-line gaming battle stations. These battle stations will be equipped with CORSAIR gaming PCs, Logitech G gaming peripherals, Sony inZone gaming displays and headsets, and Spectrum esports desks and chairs.
Behind the Scenes
Attendees can go behind the scenes of the HyperX Arena with the Integrated Experience Tour on Wednesday, June 12. The tour will include visits to the FOH control room, production observatory, and main production control room. Sony PTZ cameras and professional displays, a Planar dvLED wall, Q-SYS professional audio, and a lightning-fast network by NETGEAR will be used to ensure seamless operation.
Industry Insights and Sessions
Bubba Gaeddert, Executive Director of the Videogames and Esports Foundation, will discuss the future of gaming and esports in AV in a session at InfoComm. College technology experts from eFootprints will share insights on the technology journey of many colleges and universities in relation to esports.
The event will also feature sessions titled "Gaming and Esports Future in AV" and another titled "Building a Facility Around Esports", led by Joshua Kell, CEO of Horizon AVL and Esports Integration.
Events and Entertainment
An InfoComm show floor tour focused on Events and Entertainment will be led by Amanda Eberle on Thursday, June 13 at 11 a.m. PT. A separate Events and Entertainment Meetup is scheduled for the same day at 4 p.m. PT at AVIXA Xchange LIVE (W2847).
Learning and Networking
Attendees can meet with coaches and learn about the business side of esports and the technology that fuels its momentum at the Coaches' Stage. The Shoutcast Stage will feature play-by-play action coverage, human perspective of esports gaming and communities, integration of branding and sponsorships, and the furniture that houses the gaming rigs.
