Collaboration Kicks Off semester: VHS and Hochschule Rhein-Waal Partnership in Moers/Kamp-Lintfort

The University of Kamp-Lintfort and the Green FabLab are set to host a series of engaging events this autumn.

Firstly, the Green FabLab is planning to convert the plastic lids from the HSRW's spring collection drive into material for their 3D printers. On October 6th, a tour of the Green FabLab's machinery will demonstrate this transformation process. Unfortunately, there will be no further demonstrations or events scheduled after this tour.

Meanwhile, the vhs teaching kitchen in Kamp-Lintfort is hosting a collaborative cooking project called "Cooking and Communicating - Culinary Language Tandems". This monthly event, starting on October 7th at 6 PM, invites participants to gather, make delicious dishes, and connect, embodying the spirit of a kitchen party. It's important to note that this project is separate from the 3D printer project and does not involve the use of plastic lids from the HSRW's spring collection drive.

The Green FabLab will also be hosting demonstrations of creating a 3D object via 3D printer on September 22nd and 29th, from 5:30 PM. These events are part of a series that aims to promote sustainability, similar to the goal of the 3D printer project at the Green FabLab.

While the 3D printer project does not have any further events after October 6th, the "Cooking and Communicating - Culinary Language Tandems" project will continue monthly at the vhs teaching kitchen in Kamp-Lintfort.

Lastly, a separate event from both projects is a collaborative project between vhs and HSRW called "Cooking and Communicating - Culinary Language Tandems". This project does not have any connection or collaboration with the HSRW's spring collection drive or the 3D printer project's use of VHS plastic lids.

Whether you're interested in cooking, 3D printing, or both, there's something for everyone at vhs and the Green FabLab this autumn.
