Mergers and Acquisitions

  • PEAC Solutions, an American company owned by Blackrock, has acquired Berlin-based FinTech topi through a share deal.
  • Norwegian software giant Visma has bought Aachen-based startup Taxy.io.
  • The Berlin-based AdTech Almedia, which operates the reward system platform Freecash, acquired the Nuremberg-based cashback platform zave.it.
  • Munich-based charging station operator Wirelane has acquired Berlin's Ladegrün.
  • The American investment company The Friedkin Group, which owns AS Roma and Everton, has invested in Loft Dynamics, a Swiss startup previously known as VRM Switzerland.
  • The American quantum computing company Strangeworks has acquired the Bad Homburg-based quantum computing startup Quantagonia.
  • The Norwegian company Otovo has acquired the B2C customers of the Berlin-based green tech Zolar.
  • Singapore-based The Agridence Group has acquired Geneva-based startup farmer connect.

Funding Rounds

  • Sequoia Capital and others invested 62 million US dollars in Stark Defense, with a valuation of around 500 million dollars.
  • Robin Capital, an active Berlin investor, has announced its second fund.
  • The investors who invested in Evulpo last week include existing investors such as Serpentine Ventures and several notable entrepreneurs, who led the €9.3 million Series A funding round for the Zurich-based EdTech startup.
  • The Berlin-based early-stage investor Revent, the impact investor Green Generation Fund (GGF), and the Bochum-based real estate company Vonovia invested 4.2 million in Wallround.
  • The Swiss private equity investor Unigestion, as well as selected new Apheon investors, invested 200 million euros in Ortivity.
