Collaborative Shopping Experience: Hipdot and Peeps Unite for a Delightful Easter Collection

Kind, the well-known snack manufacturer, has expanded its product line with the introduction of Kind Frozen, its first-ever frozen breakfast offering. The new range includes four delicious smoothie bowl flavours: Almond + Mango Pineapple Passion Fruit, Almond + Triple Berry Açaí, Almond + Chocolate Banana, and Almond + Peach Kiwi Greens.

This move by Kind comes in response to the growing $3.7 billion frozen breakfast market, which has seen a 7% year-over-year increase. The company's popular Kind Granola grew by 22% in 2020, outpacing its category by 4%.

Meanwhile, the retail industry is undergoing a transformation, with retailers reworking stores to cater to shoppers' needs. This includes the deployment of in-store technology, complementary shop-in-shops, and age-appropriate experiences.

In a similar vein, fast-food giant KFC partnered with Crocs to produce fried chicken bucket-shaped clogs in February 2020, while KFC Canada introduced basketball-themed slippers and launched a "Bucketdrop raffle" for these slippers on March 11th (https://t.co/S02oN7Z82h).

The beauty industry has also seen collaboration, with Chipotle and E.l.f joining forces to create a burrito-themed makeup collection. Hipdot and Peeps have launched a limited-edition makeup collection inspired by Easter treats, called "HIPDOTxPEEPS". The collection, which features a $16 six-shade palette, a four-piece sponge set, and a palette and sponge set bundle, is available online on Hipdot's website and Ulta Beauty. However, it appears the eyeshadow palette has gained quite the attention, as it is currently sold out on Hipdot's website.

Daniel Lubetzky, Kind's founder, stated that the KIND Promise fits well within the evolving breakfast category. All Kind Frozen smoothie bowls are ready to eat, making them a convenient and healthy option for busy mornings.

The retail industry is also re-examining topics such as shrink and pricing as daily operations have changed significantly over the past few years. As the market continues to evolve, it will be interesting to see how these trends develop and impact the food and retail industries.
