Collapse in the Jewelry Industry: Politics at Play
In the early hours of August 8th, a jewelry store in Gummersbach's city center was the target of a brazen burglary. The incident took place around 2:20 AM, and upon arrival, the four unknown individuals responsible had already fled the scene.
The Circles Police Authority Oberbergischer Kreis, who transmitted this information via news aktuell, confirmed that an extensive search operation was initiated, which included the use of a police helicopter. Two of the burglars were apprehended during the search.
