On 30th April 2025, at 15:29, a significant traffic accident occurred on Krefelder Straße in Mönchengladbach-Uedding. The incident involved a collision between a truck and a car, causing substantial disruptions to traffic flow.

Upon arrival, all vehicle occupants had left their vehicles independently. The mother and three children were immediately transported to a city hospital for precautionary examination.

The Fire Department Mönchengladbach is managing the situation, with Brandamtmann Alexander FlĂŒgel serving as Incident Commander. Units from Fire and Rescue Station I (Neuwerk) and the Technical and Logistics Center (Holt) are also part of the operation.
