Traffic Accident in Delmenhorst: Two Parties Sustain Minor Injuries
A traffic accident occurred on Bremen Street in Delmenhorst on September 3, 2025, at 15:41. According to the Police Station Delmenhorst/Oldenburg-Land/Wesermarsch, the accident involved a Volvo and a Volkswagen.
The 58-year-old driver of the Volvo, from Bremen, was attempting to turn left onto Bremen Street from Großer Tannenweg. Unfortunately, he failed to notice the 63-year-old driver from Delmenhorst, who was driving a Volkswagen and had the right of way. The Volkswagen was moving straight ahead towards Bremer Heerstraße.
As a result of the collision, both parties sustained minor injuries. Emergency services were immediately on the scene to provide treatment. The vehicles involved in the accident were no longer roadworthy and had to be towed away, causing an estimated damage of 10,000 euros.
