Collision on Ruhrdeich Road, Hattingen, reports Polish police
On July 2, 2025, at 11:25 AM, a traffic accident occurred on Ruhrdeich Street in Hattingen. The incident involved two vehicles: an Opel and a Ford.
According to the Kreispolizeibehörde Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis, transmitted via news aktuell, the drivers of both vehicles were a 67-year-old and a 43-year-old Hattingen resident, respectively. The identities of the drivers have not been disclosed in the available search results.
During the collision, both airbags deployed immediately. Fortunately, the drivers sustained only minor injuries. The occupants were taken to nearby hospitals for medical attention.
The source of the information also revealed that the damage to the vehicles amounted to a mid-five-figure sum. As a result, the road was temporarily closed, and the fire department was called to absorb any spilled fluids. The cars were no longer roadworthy and had to be towed away.
