Commemorating its 40th year, a grand family gathering marks the county's tennis championships anniversary.
Get ready for an action-packed season in Regensburg, as the 40th County Championships are set to take place in September 2025. The event will bring together various sports, including tennis, air rifle and pistol shooting, cyclo-cross, and alpine skiing and snowboarding.
County Councilor Tanja Schweiger has graciously taken on the patronage of the county tennis championships. However, she has not extended her patronage to the air rifle and pistol shooting, cyclo-cross, or alpine skiing and snowboarding competitions.
The tennis championships will be held at the tennis courts of the clubs Alteglofsheim, SSV Köfering, Neutraubling, and Obertraubling. The festival atmosphere will be particularly noticeable on September 14th, when a large family festival will coincide with the singles competition at the Neutraubling court.

The small court matches will be held on September 13th, 2025. The championships will be held in both singles and doubles competitions, with the singles matches taking place from September 11th to 14th, and doubles matches from September 19th to 21st. Each participant can only register for one class in the singles or doubles competition.
The air rifle and pistol shooting competition will take place from September 23rd to October 26th, 2025, in the multi-purpose hall Zeitlarn, organized by the section "Am Wenzenbach". The air rifle and pistol shooting competition will not be held at the tennis courts of the clubs Alteglofsheim, SSV Köfering, Neutraubling, and Obertraubling.
The cyclo-cross competition will occur on October 19th, 2025, in Wörth a.d.Donau, organized by Wörth 1837. The cyclo-cross competition will not take place during the county tennis championships on September 14th.
The alpine skiing and snowboarding competition will take place on February 7th, 2026, in Englmar, organized by the ski club Neutraubling and Schierling. It's important to note that the alpine skiing and snowboarding competition will not occur during the county tennis championships in September 2025.
