Commencing the outdoor swimming period commences
The city of Detmold has announced that its public baths will open for the summer season on May 10th. This includes the Berlebeck/Heiligenkirchen, Hiddesen, "Schwarzenbrink" in Heidenoldendorf, and "Fischerteich" in Pivitsheide V.L. pools.
The opening hours for each pool vary slightly, but all will close 15 minutes before the stated closing time. Here's a breakdown:
- The "Fischerteich" public bath in Pivitsheide V.L. will be open from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesdays (which is a cleaning day for the Hiddesen and Schwarzenbrink baths), from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Wednesdays through Fridays, and from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
- The Hiddesen public bath has specific hours: Monday through Thursday from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday (cleaning day) from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday, Sunday, holidays from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
- The Berlebeck/Heiligenkirchen public bath in Detmold will be open from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Mondays through Wednesdays and Fridays, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursdays (cleaning day), and from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
- The "Schwarzenbrink" public bath in Heidenoldendorf will be open from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Mondays (cleaning day), from 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM on Tuesdays through Fridays, and from 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Please note that all pools are closed on Mondays for cleaning.
