Commission Capacitates in the Drafting of the Report on the Execution of the Programme

On September 26, 2025, the Bad Vilbel police station will be hosting a bicycle coding event at Riedweg 1, from 09:00 to 15:00. This event, aimed at helping trace stolen and/or found bicycles back to their rightful owners, is open to interested citizens.

The Central Hesse Police Headquarters in Bad Vilbel will be the venue for this event. For any inquiries regarding the event, you can contact the Press and Public Relations department at Ferniestraße 83539 Gießen, Telephone: +49 641/7006-2055 (Press Phone), or via email at [email protected]. Outside of regular business hours, inquiries can be made to the Duty Police Officer, whose contact details were not provided.

Prior registration with the Bad Vilbel police officer on duty is mandatory for the bicycle coding event. Registration can be done on weekdays between 08:00 and 16:00.

During the event, a unique identification number will be engraved into the bicycle frame. This identification number consists of the district code, a key number for the respective municipality and street, the house number, and the initials of the first and last names. This will help quickly return stolen and/or found bicycles to their rightful owners if they have been coded.

The bicycle coding is free of charge and the event is open to all. The Press Spokesperson for the Central Hesse Police Headquarters is Tobias Schwarz, but his contact details were not provided in the earlier bullet points.

This information was originally transmitted by the Central Hesse Police Headquarters - Press Office. For any further details or clarifications, you can reach out to the Press and Public Relations department at the Central Hesse Police Headquarters.
