German Politician Claudia Raffelhuschen Discusses Generational Fairness at FNF Event

Claudia Raffelhuschen, a member of the Budget Committee and the Finance Committee of the German Bundestag, recently participated in the monthly event series "Questioning..." hosted by the Berlin office of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF).

During the event on April 11th, Raffelhuschen presented her political goals, which centre around achieving generational fairness in the tax system and social and labor market policy. She emphasized the need for more personal responsibility in the coming years and engaged in a discussion with the attending guests.

Justus Lenz, director of the Liberal Institute and an expert on social market economy, digital transformation, and economic education at the FNF, moderated the event. Lenz's current focus is on strengthening the Social Market Economy amid global challenges by promoting prosperity, innovation, social balance, solid fiscal policy for generational justice, good regulation as a framework for innovation, and advancing new technologies to improve financial system access and investment opportunities.

The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom is an organisation that focuses on social market economy, digital transformation, and economic education. The Liberal Institute, a part of the FNF, also played a role in the event.

The FNF regularly hosts the event series "Questioning..." in Berlin, providing a platform for discussions on various political topics. The event on April 11th was no exception, as it offered insightful conversations about generational fairness, personal responsibility, and the future of the Social Market Economy.
