Free Mobile Phone Charging Stations Now Available at Bayreuth City Administration
In a move to improve the overall experience for visitors, the City of Bayreuth has implemented free mobile phone charging stations at its administrative offices. This initiative was suggested by students from classes 10c and 10d at Graf-Münster-Gymnasium during the "School in Action" project in June and July.
The "School in Action" project, which included student council meetings, aimed to teach students the basics of local politics. Students from Wirtschaftsschule Bayreuth were involved in this project, with Mayor Thomas Ebersberger, Deputy Mayor Dr. Andreas Zippel, and Third Mayor Stefan Schuh providing guidance.
The free mobile phone charging stations are now available for use during any waiting time at the Bayreuth City Administration offices. Three wireless charging devices are strategically placed in the Citizens' Services areas of the New Town Hall, Town Hall II, and the administrative building at Wilhelm-Pitz-Straße. These devices offer cable-free charging options, making it more convenient for visitors.
The students expressed a desire for free mobile phone charging options during the student council meetings, and the Bayreuth City Administration offices have responded positively to this request. The wireless charging devices are installed to enhance convenience and service for visitors.
