Company 'Carrier' is set to acquire 'Blaich Automation'.

In a strategic move announced last week, Carrier, a global leader in heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration solutions, has acquired Blaich Automation GmbH. This acquisition is expected to expand Carrier's ability to deliver integrated, intelligent building solutions, particularly in high-performance, demanding sectors.

Blaich Automation, a German company specialising in industrial customers' plant, building, and media technology, has been providing services since 2004. The new German branch of Automated Logic, a division of Carrier, will be located at Carrier's headquarters in Leinfelden-Echterdingen.

Karl Boerner, the Managing Director Central Europe at Carrier Climate, will oversee the operations of the newly acquired company. Mr. Boerner made a statement regarding the acquisition, confirming that it is a strategic move aimed at strengthening Automated Logic's presence in Central Europe.

Automated Logic specialises in the development and production of energy management solutions using the BACnet communication protocol. Their solutions allow building operators to optimise and manage systems such as HVAC, lighting, fire safety, elevators, and security on a single platform.

Blaich Automation offers services ranging from concept development to engineering, implementation, and long-term support. Their services claim to cover the entire process from development to support, aiming to deliver better building solutions, as indicated by Mr. Boerner's statement.

The acquisition is expected to help Carrier deliver better building solutions, with the focus of these solutions being on high-performance, demanding sectors. This acquisition is a significant step forward in Carrier's mission to provide integrated, intelligent building solutions to its customers.

Carrier has established the first German branch of Automated Logic, marking a new chapter in its commitment to delivering innovative solutions in the European market. With Karl Boerner at the helm, the future of Carrier's operations in Central Europe looks promising.
