Conflict at Subway Station Platform
Last night, there was a disturbing incident at the U-Bahn station on Leinestraße in Neukölln. Around 9 PM, an unknown individual approached a 31-year-old man and asked to buy his headphones. However, the 31-year-old refused to sell them.
The situation escalated when the unknown individual grabbed the 31-year-old by the neck. During the ensuing physical altercation, the suspect allegedly bit off a piece of the 31-year-old's right ear. The suspect did not manage to take the headphones during the incident.
The suspect fled the U-Bahn station following the incident. The 31-year-old victim is currently receiving treatment at a hospital for his injuries. The incident is under investigation by a specialized unit from Police Directorate 5 (City).
The suspect in the incident is being sought by Police Directorate 5 (City). The special unit responsible for investigating the incident at Leinestraße subway station is the SEK (Spezialeinsatzkommando), a special operations command often involved in supporting criminal investigations.
The suspect's description is yet to be confirmed, but it is known that they bit off a piece of the 31-year-old's right ear during the incident. Emergency services transported the 31-year-old to a hospital for treatment. The suspect fled the U-Bahn station without the headphones.
