Conflict within police custody ensues

On November 25, 2024, an incident took place at Lambrecht train station that led to the arrest of a woman. The incident occurred around 17:00, and police were promptly informed.

According to the Police Directorate Neustadt/Weinstraße, an arrest warrant was outstanding against the woman. The warrant was issued due to her failure to appear at a scheduled court hearing in another federal state.

Upon finding the woman at the train station, police consulted with a judge, and she spent the night in police custody. The woman will be brought before a judge on the day following the incident.

In a separate incident, a 21-year-old from the district of Meißen was arrested in Lambrecht on the same day due to an outstanding arrest warrant.
