Construction of Moritz-Lang-Haus in Dotzheim is underway
The city of Wiesbaden is eagerly anticipating the further course of construction for the Moritz-Lang-Haus, a new facility that is set to revolutionise care for the elderly in the city.
Mayor Gert-Uwe Mende has described the Moritz-Lang-Haus as a unique home with heart, intelligence, and modern equipment, and he is delighted with the commissioning of the project. The new Moritz-Lang-Haus, scheduled for completion in autumn 2026, will accommodate 104 care places.
Social Affairs Director Dr. Patricia Becher has emphasised that caring for the elderly means more than professional care; it means security, attention, and a home. She also highlighted that the care landscape will be significantly improved with the new Moritz-Lang-Haus.
The previous Moritz-Lang-Haus, which has served reliably for decades, no longer meets today's requirements in terms of structural conditions and care standards. The new facility will continue the successful work of Uwe Ortseifen, the director of the Moritz-Lang-Haus in Wiesbaden.
Planning phases and delays have tested the resolve of all involved in the Moritz-Lang-Haus project, but since the groundbreaking, progress has been swift. The solemn inauguration of the new Moritz-Lang-Haus is expected in 2026, as previously scheduled.
Mayor Mende and Dr. Becher have thanked WiBau and all involved in the construction of the Moritz-Lang-Haus for their dedication and hard work. Citizens with questions regarding the Moritz-Lang-Haus can contact the responsible department or office.
