Construction on Dubler Resort Avenue will temporarily halt access through one of its tunnels for a duration of one year.
In the heart of Sochi, the Lazarevsky district is set to experience some changes in traffic flow due to upcoming repair works and an upcoming event.
Starting from September 15, the municipal road maintenance department of St. Petersburg will undertake repair works on Dubler Kurortnogo Prospekta. These works are expected to last until December 2, 2026. During this period, traffic through Tunnel No2A between Yan Fabritsius Street and Razdolnoe village will be completely blocked.
To mitigate the impact, traffic will be rerouted through Tunnel No2 with exits onto Fabritsius. Additionally, traffic will also be rerouted onto Transportnaya Street onto the A-147 "Dzhubga - Sochi" highway. It's worth noting that the repair works on Dubler Kurortnogo Prospekta will not affect the traffic in Transportnaya Street or the A-147 "Dzhubga - Sochi" highway.
The repair works on Dubler Kurortnogo Prospekta will result in a complete blockage of traffic in Tunnel No2A for the duration of the project. Traffic through Tunnel No2A between Yan Fabritsius Street and Razdolnoe village will also be rerouted during the repair works.
On a separate note, the Lazarevsky district of Sochi will have traffic restrictions on an unspecified date in the future due to races. This information was previously reported, and the exact date has yet to be announced.
In related news, the repair works on Dubler Kurortnogo Prospekta will not affect the traffic in Tunnel No2 or the A-147 "Dzhubga - Sochi" highway.
