Construction projects at Barcelona's iconic stadium, Camp Nou, face criticism from the city's law enforcement.

In the heart of Barcelona, the much-anticipated return of Football Club Barcelona to the Spotify Camp Nou for the season debut against Valencia on September 14 is under threat due to ongoing construction issues.

The construction company, Limak, involved in the work on Spotify Camp Nou, is currently under scrutiny. The chairperson of the company is not specified in the available search results.

Recent reports by Cadena Ser have revealed a complaint filed against Limak for not having the Final Certificate of Work (CFO). Another complaint, this time from the Barcelona City Guard, amounts to a fine of 300 euros for non-compliance with schedules.

The team led by Joan Laporta has a license for stadium works from Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 00:00, and Saturdays, 10:00 to 20:00. However, it appears that the construction company was working without authorization on Sundays. Agents from the Barcelona City Guard evacuated the stadium's facilities as a result.

Despite these issues, Barcelona continues to hope for the acquisition of the Final Certificate of Work this same week. The delay in obtaining the certificate could further delay the return of the team to the Spotify Camp Nou's facilities.

In the meantime, the Johan Cruyff Stadium, where the reserve team plays, is gaining prominence as an alternative venue for Barcelona's home matches.
