Construction projects underway on Goldinger Street, targeting road improvement and maintenance.
In the heart of the city, a construction project is underway, causing some changes for commuters and residents. Here's what you need to know:
The construction work has led to a traffic rerouting plan, but fear not, pedestrians and cyclists are not affected by these changes. They can continue to pass through the construction site as usual.
For those travelling by bus, lines 10, 110, and X10 are being rerouted in both directions. The revised route takes these buses via Südbahnhof, Falkenstraße, and a specific course that varies for each line. This diversion applies in both directions and is necessary to avoid the construction site.
Despite the rerouting, these bus lines remain accessible to residents, ensuring they can still commute as usual. However, the "Goldinger Street" and "Klausenberg" stops will not be served during this period due to the construction.
Drivers are asked to circumvent the construction site accordingly and observe closure and detour signs. Additionally, they are requested to observe no-parking zones near the construction site.
An alternative route for traffic is available, and it takes drivers via Adler Street, Am Birken Street, Specht Way, Falken Street, Rosental. However, the bus lines 10, 110, and X10 are not affected by this alternative route.
Traffic will also be rerouted via Pettenkofer Street, Rosental, Falken Street, Adler Street, and Bach Street. Residents can access the construction site from both directions, but it's important to note that traffic is being rerouted in the surrounding areas.
As always, we encourage everyone to stay safe and follow the signs and instructions provided to ensure a smooth commute during this construction period.
