Construction unveils animated preview of $370 million expansion at Turning Stone resort
The Oneida Indian Nation is set to host its "Doing Business with the Oneida Indian Nation" conference on September 12, 2025, coinciding with the unveiling of animated renderings for the highly anticipated Mirax Casino project.
The conference, to be held at the Turning Stone Resort Casino, will offer business leaders a unique opportunity to engage in panel discussions with resort executives, vendors, and community partners. The focus of the event will be on opportunities related to the Mirax Casino project and the $50 million expansion at Point Place Casino.
Construction on the Mirax Casino project is well underway, with a 1,600-space parking garage already being built at Turning Stone, effectively doubling its indoor parking capacity. This expansion is projected to create over 3,500 construction and related jobs.
In addition to the Mirax Casino project, more than 60 New York businesses have already been contracted to contribute to the Grand Expo, Crescent Hotel, and parking garage at Turning Stone.
To further bolster business opportunities, a procurement fair will be held during the conference, allowing owners to connect directly with purchasing agents from the Oneida Indian Nation. The Oneida Indian Nation's $370 million investment in the Mirax Casino project is expected to generate a one-time economic impact of over $600 million. In 2024, the Nation spent $161 million with vendors in Oneida, Madison, and Onondaga counties, a figure that is projected to rise as the expansion progresses.
