In Bruchhausen, a field near the village caught fire on Tuesday at around 12:20 PM. The blaze was extinguished by the local fire department, and fortunately, no one was injured during the incident.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire was caused by sparks from a stone in a combine harvester during the harvesting process. This unfortunate incident resulted in damage to a field area approximately the size of four football fields, leading to significant crop loss and estimated property damage in several thousand euros.
