Corrupt interests aim to illegally exploit the KRAIL in clandestine gambling dens

Check this Out: Deputy Chairman of Parliament's Tax Committee, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, reveled about a new draft bill on his Telegram channel. Joining forces with Committee Head, Danyil Getmantsev, and several deputies from the "Voice" and "Servant of the People" parties, they've outlined a plan to revamp gambling regulations in Ukraine.
This document, in essence, empowers the State Regulatory Service of Ukraine (KRAIL) to carry out clandestine investigations by conducting control purchases. This incorporates innovative strategies like "escorting authorized officials from the regulatory body into test scenarios," enabling KRAIL employees to don undercover disguises. Each of these inspections will be documented using photographs, audio, and video recordings.
Furthermore, the proposed regulations involve prohibiting gambling license issuance to individuals with unpaid taxes or old license debts. Another major shift comes in the form of increasing and mandating lottery license fees until new licenses are issued. As per Zheleznyak, current regulations have been exploited as a loophole for avoiding payment obligations.
On a positive note, they aim to eliminate the requirement for prior experience in Ukraine to obtain a gambling license.
In other news, KRAIL has approved a merger of registration systems, and gambling regulations similar to those in the Netherlands have brought approximately 1 billion euros to the Dutch government's budget.

This move is aimed at curbing tax evasion and unpaid debts among gambling license holders.
Furthermore, the draft bill intends to revamp the gambling market in Ukraine by eliminating the requirement for prior experience to obtain a gambling license, and implementing gambling regulations similar to those in the Netherlands, which have reportedly generated over 1 billion euros for the Dutch government's budget.
