In a ceremony held on August 19, 2025, District Administrator Ingo Brohl introduced Frank Marienfeldt as the new head of the East Police Station in Dinslaken. The 58-year-old Marienfeldt, a long-serving and highly experienced leader within the Wesel Circular Police Authority, has been leading the East Police Station since May 1, 2025.

Marienfeldt began his career with the Federal Border Guard in 1983 and joined the police force of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia in 1990. He graduated from the higher police service academy in 1997 and has held various positions in Dinslaken and the control center in Wesel since then.

As the regional contact person for the cities and municipalities in the East District, which includes Dinslaken, Voerde, Hünxe, and Schermbeck, Marienfeldt will oversee the operations of the East Police Station. He expressed enthusiasm for his new role and acknowledged the responsibilities that come with it.
