As of 25.10.20, the Rhein-Kreis Neuss area in Germany has reported 615 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection, according to the latest data. This figure represents a significant increase from the 307 cases reported on 18.10.20.

The hotspot of the current outbreak appears to be the city of Neuss, with 248 cases, followed by Kaarst (71), Korschenbroich (37), and Jüchen (13). Other affected municipalities include Grevenbroich (74), Dormagen (74), Meerbusch (82), and Rommerskirchen (16).

The 7-day incidence rate calculated by the Landeszentrum Gesundheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LZG) stands at 90.3 for the Rhein-Kreis Neuss. Despite the increased number of cases, the mortality rate remains relatively low at 1.18%. Regrettably, the number of deaths from coronavirus in the area remains unchanged at 28.

Currently, 34 individuals are hospitalized due to the virus.
