Crime: Burglary in Theodor-Heuss Park
In the early hours of last night, a disturbing incident took place in Soest, Germany. The incident occurred on the platform known as Soest, and it involved a robbery and assault that left a 25-year-old man from Somalia severely injured.
According to the original content transmitted by news aktuell from Kreispolizeibehörde Soest, the victim approached four people in Theodor-Heuss-Park and asked for a cigarette. However, the encounter took a violent turn, as the suspects started physically assaulting the victim, punching and kicking him. One of the suspects allegedly hit the victim in the face with a bottle, resulting in a black eye, a bloody lip, and swelling on his face.
The victim was quickly taken to the nearest hospital by ambulance. As a result of the assault, several bags of marijuana and amphetamines were found on the victim during a search at the hospital.
An unrelated witness observed the incident and promptly called the police. Four suspects matching the witness's description were found during the search. The four suspects, comprising a 19-year-old male from Bayreuth, two 18-year-old females from Lippetal, and a 40-year-old male from Soest, initially denied the crime during their interrogation.
All four suspects were provisionally arrested and released after the measures were completed. At the moment, the suspects are yet to be identified or charged publicly. The three uninvolved individuals arrested during the incident have not been publicly identified either.
