Criminal investigation ongoing for break-ins at Weiherhaus: Police seeking public's help in discovering suspects
In the early hours of Monday, August 18, 2025, a burglary occurred at a property on Schwedengraben Street, Nuremberg, Germany. The criminal act was discovered by a resident at around 3:15 AM.
The Police Headquarters Middle Franconia initiated a manhunt for the break-ins that occurred on this day, specifically at the Weiherhaus location on Schwedengrabenstraße. The culprits, described as two men approximately 180 cm tall with a slim build, were seen wearing black hooded sweatshirts among other clothing.
Evidence was secured at the scene by officers from the Criminal Duty Service. However, an immediate search, including a helicopter from the Bavarian Rapid Deployment Police, did not result in the arrest of any suspects.
The suspects were reportedly seen in the ground floor of the house before they fled through the terrace door, taking several watches during the incident. The Criminal Police are appealing for information from the public in connection with their investigations.
