In the past few days, several incidents have been reported across the region, with the Eschborn police and local authorities urging residents to stay vigilant.
On Monday morning, August 18, a 13-year-old boy was involved in a collision with a Dacia in Hofheim-Marxheim. The accident occurred at the Königberger Weg roundabout towards Chattenstraße around 11:30 AM. The 63-year-old driver of the Dacia failed to see the boy, resulting in a collision that caused the boy to fall and be taken to a nearby hospital.
In a separate incident, a woman was robbed in a Bad Soden supermarket on Königsteiner Street on the same morning, at approximately 10:11 AM. No further details about the robbery have been released yet.
Later that day, a 32-year-old homeless Polish man was arrested in connection with a burglary in Eschborn, Niederhöchststadt. The man, who will face criminal charges after police procedures, has not been identified.
On the same day, fake police officers stole cash and jewelry from a resident in the same area, between 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM. The suspect is described as being between 30 and 40 years old, having a slim figure, and wearing a dark top, jeans, and carrying a handbag.
In another incident, graffiti vandalism was reported in the field area near Flakweg in Flörsheim-Weilbach between August 11 and 18, 2025. No suspects have been identified, and the Criminal Police are requesting tips at (06196) 2073-0.
On Sunday night, August 17, a 16-year-old girl was sexually harassed by unknown persons in Bad Soden near the bridge over the Hauptgraben at around 1:15 AM. The police are still searching for the perpetrators.
The scammers contacted the victim multiple times by phone, claiming to be from the criminal police and wanting to secure his valuables and cash due to a secret investigation. The police advise that they will never want to pick up or secure your valuables, and hanging up on suspicious calls is the best course of action.
