Cryptocurrency Tycoon Justin Sun Concludes Sub-Orbital Journey on Blue Origin's New Shepard Rocket

In an exciting turn of events, Justin Sun, the founder of the blockchain platform Tron, has made history by completing a suborbital spaceflight aboard Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket system. The mission, designated NS-34, provided a brief, ten-minute journey into space.

The mission took place yesterday, and it was not Sun's originally scheduled flight. Due to scheduling conflicts, he was unable to join the July 20, 2021, mission. However, he won the auction for a seat aboard Blue Origin's first-ever crewed spaceflight in June 2021 and registered for the NS-34 mission.

The diverse crew for this mission included Arvi Bahal (a real estate investor), Gökhan Erdem (a businessman), Deborah Martorell (a meteorologist), Lionel Pitchford (an educator), J.D. Russell (an entrepreneur), and Jeff Bezos (the founder of Blue Origin).

Upon landing, Justin Sun shared his thoughts on the experience, stating, "Viewing Earth from space provided a profound realization of its fragility and the importance of its preservation." He also hinted at future space missions, saying, "This is my first commitment and step to space...we will have more."

It's worth noting that no information was provided about any subsequent space missions involving Justin Sun. The crew launched from a West Texas site, as is customary for Blue Origin's New Shepard missions.

This marks a significant milestone for Justin Sun and the growing trend of private individuals venturing into space. As more opportunities arise, we can expect to see more names from the tech and business worlds joining the ranks of astronauts.
