The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the CSIR UGC NET Final Result 2025 on its official portal, csirhrdg.res.in. The result is available as a PDF that candidates can download from the portal.
The CSIR UGC NET 2025 was conducted for the posts of Junior Fellowship (JRF), Lectureship/Assistant Professor, and Ph.D. A total of 1,47,732 candidates appeared for the CSIR UGC NET June 2025 exam out of 1,95,241 registered candidates.
To check the CSIR NET Result 2025, candidates need to click on the link "Joint CSIR-UGC NET Result June-2025" on the official portal. The result includes the qualifying status of each candidate, which can be found by searching for the roll number in the published result list.
The CSIR NET Final Result 2025 also provides details such as the number of registrations, the number of candidates who appeared, and the attendance rate. It also includes detailed category-wise result distribution.
The CSIR UGC NET 2025 was held for five major science subjects: Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Mathematical Sciences.
Life Sciences recorded the highest number of registrations and participants in the CSIR UGC NET 2025. The number of candidates eligible for JRF (NET) UGC is 1,866, and the number of candidates eligible for JRF in Earth Science JRF (NET) MoES is 25.
Qualified candidates for Assistant Professor are eligible for teaching positions as faculty members in colleges and universities across India. They will also receive an official CSIR UGC NET Certificate 2025. The validity of the JRF certificate is 3 years from the date of issue, while the Lectureship/Assistant Professor e-certificate is valid for a lifetime.
Many Public Sector Units (PSUs) like ONGC, HPCL, and Indian Oil also accept CSIR NET scores for recruitment. Qualified candidates for JRF are eligible to apply for Junior Research Fellowships in top universities and research institutes.
The CSIR UGC NET Certificate 2025 is valid for three years from the date of declaration of the result, during which candidates are eligible for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor positions. The CSIR UGC NET Scorecard Release date was 20th August 2025.
The Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2025 examination was conducted on 28th July 2025 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The Conducting Body for the CSIR UGC NET 2025 is the National Testing Agency (NTA).
