Culture Soiree Arnsberg 2025: Melodies and Rhythms - Engaging in the Cultural Summer's Music and Dance Events
The Cultural Office of the City of Arnsberg is excited to announce the upcoming project "Fragments", a unique blend of dance and music that will take place as part of the Cultural Summer 2025. The project will be held in the inner courtyard of Kloster Wedinghausen, offering a picturesque setting for this interactive performance.
"Fragments" has its roots in the performance "Flussgeflüster", first staged by Manuel Quero in 2017. Silas Eifler, a renowned musician, will take on the musical direction for this project, providing guidance and leading the musical rehearsals.
The project is currently seeking participants with dance experience and singers for the project choir. Two introductory workshops are being offered, one on August 9th and the other on August 17th, both at Werkstattgalerie DER BOGEN in Arnsberg. The Music Workshop will take place on August 17th, from 12:00-15:00, while the Dance Workshop will run from 12:00-16:00.
Dance rehearsals will be scheduled in consultation with the participants between August 11th and September 2nd, with two to three rehearsals per week. Music rehearsals will follow a similar schedule. A dress rehearsal is scheduled for September 4th, and the main rehearsal will take place on September 3rd. The final performance is scheduled for September 6th, starting at 20:00 in the courtyard of Kloster Wedinghausen.
Tobias Weikamp will develop choreographies with the participants, ensuring a collaborative and engaging experience. Registration and information can be obtained from Silas Eifler at [email protected] or +49 178 278 7253.
Don't miss this opportunity to be part of an exciting and innovative project that combines dance and music. Join "Fragments" and contribute to Arnsberg's Cultural Summer 2025.
