Cyclist Escapes Post Collision with Another Cyclist (85 Years Old)
In Bochum, Germany, the police are currently searching for a cyclist who fled the scene after a collision with an 85-year-old man on March 22nd. The incident occurred around 3 pm on a dirt path extending from Dürener Straße, behind the Rhineland Donkey.
According to the police, the 85-year-old man from Dortmund was allegedly overtaken on the right by the fleeing cyclist, which may have caused him to fall. Despite wearing a helmet, the elderly man sustained a head injury.
After the collision, the other cyclist did not stop to check on the injured man and fled the scene. A witness called out to the fleeing cyclist to stop, but to no avail. The cyclist turned around briefly after being called out but continued riding away, heading towards Sieben-Planeten-Straße.
