Daily fashion experiment: 10 items, 10 ensembles, 10 days duration

The Fall 10x10 Wardrobe Challenge, hosted by blogger and creator of 10x10, Lee of Style Bee, is now underway. This season, the challenge is co-hosted by Sarah from Unfancy. The goal is simple: create a new outfit each day for 10 days using just 10 items of clothing.

Participants are encouraged to gather their basics, build and finish their outfit, and make any necessary adjustments. The challenge is designed to foster creativity in outfit-making, test a minimalist wardrobe, or simply foster love for existing clothes.

The 10 items of clothing can include tops, bottoms, and shoes. Accessories, bags, PJs, or gym clothes are not part of the challenge. Participants are free to use items they already own, and no need to buy anything, throw anything out, commit to minimalism, or overhaul the wardrobe.

For those looking to participate, BIRKENSTOCKS, fleece-lined options included, and similar styles under $15 are available for footwear. For bottoms, Jeans by Citizens of Humanity, with affordable alternatives under $70, are a popular choice. Black Shorts by Madewell are another option, with similar styles available at a lower price point.

Vetta Capsule has gifted a 3-in-1 sweater for the challenge, while Bryr has gifted CLOGS. The Knit Midi Dress by Elizabeth Suzann is another gifted item. Mules by Madewell, still available in other colours, are another footwear option.

The blogger, Lee, has shared her intention for this fall challenge: to practice self-care and be gentle with herself. She plans to pair the wardrobe challenge with 10 days of self-care, including kind affirmations, gratitude, compassion, a slower pace, and soft comfortable clothes.

The challenge aims to connect participants and encourage them to try something new. Participants are encouraged to check the weather and note their daily activities to ensure they are dressing appropriately.

The Fall 10x10 Wardrobe Challenge is not about the success of the challenge, but what it teaches participants. It's a chance to simplify, be creative, and focus on self-care. So, gather your 10 items, and join the challenge today!
