Damaged vehicles found parked in eight locations following LPI-G incident
In the quiet streets of Gera, an unfortunate incident occurred between 7 PM on August 27, 2025, and 7 AM on August 28, 2025. Eight parked cars in Weidenstraße were damaged, with the damage ranging from scratches on the sides facing the road to a more severe case where a side mirror was torn off or kicked off.
The Gera Police Headquarters is currently investigating this matter and has identified a 23-year-old German man as the suspected perpetrator. It is alleged that he was intoxicated while riding an e-scooter around the time of the incident.
