Daylight Catch-up: Young Scooter Thieves Nabbed in Nuremberg
On Friday afternoon, at around 14:00, a Yamaha scooter that had been reported stolen the previous evening was discovered at a gas station on Witschelstraße. Several juveniles, aged 14 and 15, were present at the gas station when the motorcycle was found.
Upon arrival, the police from Nuremberg-West police station initiated an investigation, suspecting theft. However, the actual driver of the motor scooter had already fled by the time they arrived. The motor scooter was found with fuel, indicating it had been driven since being stolen.
The officers conducted their investigation, and after completing their measures, the motorcycle was returned to its rightful owner. Despite the recovery of the stolen motorcycle, the investigation into the theft is still ongoing.
