In a unfortunate turn of events, a traffic accident occurred on Sunday afternoon on the L107 between Elzach and Gutach. The accident involved a 53-year-old motorcyclist and two oncoming small motorcycles.

The Haslach i.K. police station is currently investigating the cause of the accident. Preliminary findings suggest that the 53-year-old motorcyclist veered onto the opposite lane in a right curve.

The motorcyclist was severely injured and airlifted to the hospital. The 23- and 24-year-old drivers were also involved in the accident and were slightly injured. They were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulance.

The total number of people involved in the accident was four. The material damage is estimated at approximately 20,000 euros.
