A collision between a Sprinter and a Renault Trafic occurred at the junction of Gerresheimer Landstraße and Rothenbergstraße in Düsseldorf. The exact cause of the accident is currently under investigation.

The driver of the Sprinter, a 30-year-old individual, was travelling towards Gerresheim - Vennhausen on Rothenbergstraße with a BMW X5 loaded on a trailer. The driver of the Renault Trafic, a 58-year-old resident of Erkrath, was intending to turn left towards A46 on Gerresheimer Landstraße.

Initial investigations suggest that the Sprinter driver may have ignored a red light, potentially causing the collision. The Düsseldorf Police's Traffic Commission is conducting a thorough investigation into the incident.

Witnesses who have not yet come forward are urged to contact the Traffic Commission at 0211 - 870-0. The identity of the driver of the Renault Trafic involved in the collision has not been publicly disclosed.
