Deftones' Long-Awaited Album from a Near Decade Ago Garners Chart Success Now

Deftones, the renowned rock band, has released their latest full-length album, Private Music, marking half a decade since their last album, Ohms. This tenth studio album by the band is now available for fans to enjoy.

Private Music has already made a significant impact, debuting on the Official Albums chart at No. 98. Several singles from the album have become hits in various countries' rock rankings, adding to the album's success.

The album isn't the only Deftones release making waves in the U.K. The Studio Album Collection, a box set that includes all of Deftones' studio albums, has also become a chart hit. Originally released in 2016, the collection reappears on the U.K.'s Official Albums Streaming chart at No. 78, marking a higher peak compared to its initial release. This makes the Studio Album Collection the highest-peaking Deftones title on the Official Albums chart since Ohms in October 2020.

The collection includes the tracklists of Deftones' first seven studio albums: Adrenaline, Around the Fur, White Pony, the self-titled project, Saturday Night Wrist, Diamond Eyes, and Koi No Yokan. Deftones have also achieved a new hit on the Official Rock & Metal Singles chart with "Milk of the Madonna," the second single from Private Music. This song debuts at No. 38, making it Deftones' sixth career win on the Official Rock & Metal Singles chart.

It's worth noting that B-Sides & Rarities remains the lowest-peaking Deftones title on the Official Albums chart, having only spent a single turn at No. 100 in November 2005.

The Studio Album Collection is the eleventh charting album for Deftones on the Official Albums chart, demonstrating the band's consistent popularity over the years. This box set is a testament to Deftones' enduring influence in the rock music scene, and fans can look forward to more from this iconic band.
