In a twist of politically sensitive events, an alleged birthday greeting from former U.S. President Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein has resurfaced, stirring a storm of controversy. The greeting, which consists of cryptic references and a drawn silhouette of a woman's body, was first made public on the X platform by the House Oversight Committee.

On Monday, the Wall Street Journal published a photo of the alleged letter, but Trump swiftly dismissed the report, stating, "That's forged. It's a false report by the Wall Street Journal." Trump's spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt, further clarified that Trump did not draw or sign the letter, and its authenticity is unclear.

The dispute over the handling of the Epstein case in the U.S. has been ongoing for months, with calls for the release of all documents related to the case growing louder, particularly from within Republican and ardent Trump supporter ranks. Republican committee chairman James Comer has accused Democrats of selectively releasing documents and politicizing information from Epstein's estate administrators.

Epstein's death in 2019 at the age of 66 in his prison cell has sparked wild speculation due to his close ties with the American elite. Prominent figures and billionaires frequented Epstein's circle, and Trump spent time with Epstein, as evidenced by several party videos.

The Wall Street Journal reported on an alleged birthday greeting card from Trump that was part of an album for Epstein's 2003 birthday, but the album and original letter were not published at the time. Trump has stated that the alleged greeting card is forged and not his language or words. Leavitt also threatened further legal action regarding the allegations.

The committee plans to release more Epstein-related documents on Monday, including Epstein's will, entries from his address books, and a birthday book compiled by Ghislaine Maxwell for Epstein's 50th birthday. The dispute over the authenticity of the alleged birthday greeting from Trump adds another layer to the ongoing saga surrounding the Epstein case.
