Dental visit escalates into emergency situation

In an unexpected turn of events, a dental appointment in Euskirchen-Stotzheim on August 25 took an unconventional turn at 5:20 PM. A 20-year-old patient, whose identity remains confidential, had an outburst of anger during the session.

The dental session ended in an unconventional manner when the patient, upon exiting the practice, picked up a metal rod that was lying on the sidewalk. The young woman began swinging the metal rod wildly, causing chaos in the vicinity.

The young woman's actions did not go unnoticed. A 64-year-old passerby was targeted by the young woman with the metal rod. However, the passerby managed to deflect the blow with her backpack, avoiding injury.

Unfortunately, the glass entrance of a nearby residential building was not so fortunate. The young woman damaged the building's entrance with the metal rod. The estimated property damage was in the low four-figure range in euros.

The dental practice's interior remained intact, but the incident undoubtedly affected the dental team's nerves. No further information is provided about the condition of the team or the patient.

The Criminal Police have initiated investigations into the attempted dangerous bodily harm and property damage. Despite the police's best efforts, the young woman had already vanished by the time they arrived. No further information is provided about her whereabouts.

As for the 64-year-old passerby, no further information is provided about her condition or the progress of the investigations. The community hopes for her swift recovery and the apprehension of the young woman involved in the incident.
