Napoli Manager Meets Remarkable Fan Who Donated Kidney to Wife

In a heartwarming turn of events, Alain Schiratti, a 41-year-old Friulian striker, had a significant meeting with Napoli's manager, Maurizio Sarri. This meeting, which was a result of Schiratti's selfless act of donating a kidney to his wife, Cristina, has become a testament to his act of love and altruism.

Schiratti, who has been a fan of Napoli since he was a little boy, has never set foot in the San Paolo stadium. His love for the team, however, was born during Maradona's time. The meeting with Sarri, the current manager of the Napoli team, is a significant milestone for Schiratti.

Sarri, in a show of respect and admiration, commented that he is proud to meet a person who has made such a great gesture of love. He further stated that this meeting is a wonderful demonstration of sensitivity. Antonio Conte, the former Napoli manager, also showed his support by offering his availability to meet Schiratti.

Despite not being particularly known for his altruism on the football field, Schiratti's football career has been marked by goals stolen from the penalty area. He has an average of one goal every two games in the First and Second Category. However, his most significant achievement off the field is undoubtedly his act of donating a kidney to his wife.

Eurosport contacted Sarri and Napoli regarding a meeting with Schiratti. The meeting, destined to become a reality, is a significant event in Schiratti's life. His dream, after all, is to have a normal life with his wife Cristina. Although he is currently not playing football due to the kidney donation, this meeting with Napoli's management is a fitting recognition of his extraordinary act of love.
