Dinslaken Fire Department faces two more emergency calls
In the quiet night of Dinslaken, the local fire department was called into action twice, as two false alarms were triggered.
The first incident occurred at 21:50 on Steinstr. in the Lohberg district. A smoke alarm in an apartment had been triggered, but there was no visible fire from the outside. The firefighters gained access to the apartment and confirmed that there was no fire, but a trash can had caught fire for unknown reasons. The smoke alarm in the apartment had a technical malfunction, which caused the false alarm.
The second call came in at 23:00 to Theodor-Körner-Strasse. Once again, the smoke alarm had been triggered, but there was no fire to be seen from the outside. After investigating, the firefighters confirmed that there was no fire in the building.
The Dinslaken Fire Department, based in the town itself, responded swiftly and efficiently to both calls. The second alert of the full-time firefighters was triggered by the alarm dispatcher or control center based on information received about the incident.
