After a successful two-year stint with 1. FC Union Berlin, midfielder Lucas Tousart is returning to his home country France. The 28-year-old has officially left Union Berlin and signed a two-year contract with Stade Brest.
Tousart joined Union Berlin from Hertha BSC in 2020, and during his time with the club, he played in 40 competitive games. He was the captain of the French U21 national team when he joined Union Berlin.
Union Berlin announced Tousart's departure, with the exact time of his transfer to Stade Brest taking place on August 30, 2025. The official confirmation was reported on September 1, 2025, at 16:38 CET.
