Disney announces the title and February 2027 release date for 'Ice Age 6' at D23 event.

The much-anticipated follow-up to the 2016 blockbuster "Ice Age: Collision Course", titled "Ice Age: Boiling Point", was unveiled at Destination D23: A Journey Around the Worlds of Disney. The announcement took place on a Saturday at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida, and was hosted by Yvette Nicole Brown.

In "Ice Age: Boiling Point", fans will rejoin their favourite prehistoric pals Manny, Diego, Sid, Ellie, and Scrat as they embark on a dinosaur-and-lava-filled madcap adventure in the never-before-seen corners of the treacherous Lost World. The film is produced by 20th Century Animation and distributed by 20th Century Studios, marking the first Ice Age theatrical film not produced by Blue Sky Studios since its closure in April 2021.

Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, Simon Pegg, and Queen Latifah are reprising their voice roles for the upcoming movie. The production of "Ice Age: Boiling Point" was announced during D23 in November, but the premiere date has been set for Feb. 5, 2027.
