In the picturesque town of Pechora, a resident has fully settled a long-standing child support debt following a series of debt recovery measures.

The court order for child support arose in February 2023, with the resident being obliged to pay 46,000 rubles per month for the maintenance of his daughter. However, due to the accumulated debt on alimony, a bailiff was required to recover the amount.

As part of the debt recovery measures, the resident faced several restrictions. Travel restrictions were imposed, and registration actions with garages, vehicles, apartments, and land plots were banned. These measures were designed to ensure the timely payment of the child support.

Despite the restrictions, quick results were not immediately achieved. It wasn't until the enforcement order for the child support payment was presented to the service in July 2023 that significant progress was made. Upon receiving the bailiff's ruling, the resident transferred over 100,000 rubles to the service's deposit.

The restriction on driving a car proved to be particularly effective in recovering the child support debt from the resident. This measure, along with the others, put pressure on the individual to comply with the court order.

It's important to note that the person described is called a "garnishee" in the context of child support enforcement. This term, derived from German (Pechoran), refers to a third party who is obliged to pay a debt on behalf of another party.

As of August 1, 2025, temporary restrictions on using special rights were applied to 1,068 alimony debtors in Komi, highlighting the ongoing efforts to ensure child support payments are made in a timely manner. The child support debt in this case is now fully settled, bringing relief to both the resident and his daughter.

The successful resolution of this case serves as a reminder of the importance of adhering to court orders and the measures that can be taken when those orders are not followed.
