Dubai's Awqaf has completed extensive real estate projects, costing approximately AED 23 million.

In the first half of 2025, the Endowments and Minors' Trust Foundation in Dubai (Awqaf Dubai) has successfully completed four new endowment real estate projects, totalling over AED 23 million.

These projects, in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, are aimed at strengthening sustainable development and community wellbeing. The proceeds from these projects are dedicated to various sectors, including mosque affairs, educational initiatives, social services, healthcare, and general charitable purposes.

One of the projects is the Al Warqa Shops Endowment, dedicated to mosque affairs. Another project is an endowment for government employees, with proceeds directed to general charitable initiatives. Notably, a residential villas endowment was launched in partnership with the Dubai Charity Association, with revenues funding humanitarian, educational, and healthcare initiatives.

An additional villa endowment will channel its proceeds toward charitable purposes. New projects, including shopping centres, residential complexes, and multi-purpose buildings, are scheduled for completion by the end of next year.

His Excellency Ali Al Mutawa, Secretary General of Awqaf Dubai, stated that the projects reflect the foundation's commitment to developing assets that benefit vital sectors of society. Al Mutawa emphasized the importance of ensuring optimal investment returns for Awqaf Dubai and preserving donor assets.

Al Mutawa added that the new projects will further the foundation's commitment to benefiting vital sectors of society. The completion of these projects marks a significant step towards achieving the vision of a sustainable and prosperous Dubai.
