DuMont appoints Sandra Vollmer as their new Chief Financial Officer, with her departure from Verivox.

DuMont, the German media company, is undergoing a significant change as Sandra Vollmer joins the Group Management Board as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), set to take up her role on October 1, 2025. She will be succeeding Stefan Hütwohl, who is stepping down from his CFO position at the end of the year.

Vollmer, a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications, media, and internet industries, is well-known for her understanding of diversification in the digital media economy. Most recently, she served as CEO and CFO of Verivox, a comparison portal, before ProSiebenSat.1 sold it to the Italian holding company Moltiply in the spring.

Before joining Verivox, Vollmer held C-level positions in the finance and HR areas at 1&1 Mail and Media Applications SE, United Internet, and Unitymedia. Her impressive career trajectory is sure to bring valuable insights to DuMont.

Hütwohl, who has been a key figure at DuMont for the past ten years, will continue to support the company in a different form after his departure. Dr. Christoph Bauer, CEO of DuMont, expressed gratitude for Hütwohl's commitment to DuMont's realignment, and wished him all the best for his private life and professionally.

Bauer also expressed enthusiasm about Vollmer joining DuMont, praising her expertise and understanding of the digital markets. Hütwohl, too, will remain connected to the house in a prominent role.

In the meantime, DuMont is growing successfully in digital markets, and Hütwohl will continue to support the Group Management Board in strategic projects. However, after a three-month transition phase, Hütwohl will have more time for other activities and his family.

Dr. Bauer and Hütwohl have had a successful collaboration for the last ten years, and Bauer is confident that Vollmer will continue to drive DuMont's success in the digital age.
