Duncan Todd: Individual Identified
Duncan Todd, a versatile professional with a unique background, has joined the Core Team at Creative PEC. Despite studying Biology at university, Todd has made a name for himself in Local Government and the charity sector.
Prior to his current role, Todd worked as a programme manager for the Peter Jones Foundation, where he managed their national competition. During his tenure, he worked with hundreds of schools and thousands of students nationwide, providing £100k a year in seed funding for schools and students to start small enterprises.
Todd's impressive work at the Peter Jones Foundation led to an operations role within the foundation, where he improved its processes and found efficiency. However, his operations role ended at the end of 2020 due to the impact of the pandemic.
In March 2022, Todd relocated back to his hometown in Norfolk due to changing personal circumstances. He is now the Finance and Administration Manager at Creative PEC, an organisation that provides independent research and policy recommendations for the UK's creative industries.
Creative PEC's team includes Hasan Bakhshi MBE as the Director, Karen Brodie as the Deputy Director and Deputy Chair of GCEC, Emily Hopkins and Nik Gunn as Policy Advisers, Sarah Najm as an NUA CT Fellow in Economics of Creative Industries, and Nirat Rujimora and Daniel Simandjuntak as Research Assistants and Research Associate respectively. The team is also led by Simon Jones as the Communications Manager.
With Todd's extensive experience in the charity sector and Local Government, Creative PEC is poised for continued growth and impact in the UK's creative industries.
