Dynamic Models Prospect in Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo Unveiled

Opel is set to unveil its latest concept vehicle, the Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo, at the IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich this September. This electric powerhouse is poised to redefine the compact car segment and showcase Opel's commitment to high-performance vehicles.

The Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in a breathtaking two seconds and reaches a top speed of 320 km/h. Powering this speed demon are two 350 kW (476 PS) electric motors, one at each axle, resulting in a system output of 588 kW (800 PS). The permanent all-wheel drive contributes to grip, handling, and vehicle stability, ensuring a thrilling driving experience.

Weighing only 1,170 kilograms, the Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo is a lightweight marvel. This feat is achieved through the use of particularly lightweight materials and components. The vehicle's aerodynamic solutions, such as Aero-Curtains on the front and rear wings, black Aero-wing extensions, Aero-wheels, active Aero diffusor, and active Aero spoiler, further contribute to its speed and agility.

The cockpit of the Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo is designed with performance in mind. It features a slim steering wheel, a head-up display, no additional screens, lightweight sports seat with six-point harness and roll cage, and sensors that warn of approaching vehicles.

Opel's sporty sub-brand GSE is going fully electric and will receive a new logo. The next GSE generation will offer a sporty design and a suspension tuning that directly involves the driver, promising exciting driving fun. The Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo embodies the pinnacle of Opel's "High-Performance Sub-Brand" GSE.

The Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo's boost function provides an additional 59 kW (80 PS) for overtaking on the track, ensuring smooth and swift manoeuvres. It also features a single-speed transmission and an 82 kWh battery.
