East-Kracher triumphs over Leipzig in the inaugural match of the season, held in Eisenach.
In the inaugural game of the 2025/26 season, SC DHfK Leipzig faced a tough challenge against ThSV Eisenach at the Werner-Aßmann-Halle. Despite a valiant effort, the Leipzig team ended the match with a 31:27 loss.
The game started with Lukas Binder scoring the first field goal for SC DHfK Leipzig in the eighth minute, giving them an early lead. However, ThSV Eisenach quickly responded, taking advantage of their stable defense and few technical errors in the first half. The teams had an equal number of penalties, with ThSV Eisenach saving 9 times and SC DHfK Leipzig saving 10 times. ThSV Eisenach took 8 time-outs, and SC DHfK Leipzig took 4.
